Based on the design of the traditional OPINEL knives, the Opinel Specialist Range of knives are dedicated to specific uses.

The Opinel N°09 Oyster and Shellfish knife is perhaps the only folding oyster knife on the market today. The Sandvik 12C27 modfied stainless steel blade is robust and pointed designed to open oysters and other shellfish easily without damaging them.

The blade is 6.5cm long with only 1.5cm of the tip sharpened. The tip is centered with the axis for better ergonomics and efficiency. The varnished bubinga wood handle provides good resistance to moisture absorption.

The Virobloc security ring keeps the blade closed safely in the pocket or open in the hand.
