Based in the Portland Works, Sheffield where over 100 years ago Harry Brearley developed stainless steel for cutlery use, Michael May uses centuries old craftsmanship and knife patterns to create traditional pocket knives. The Michael May Pruner Bog Oak is a traditional design favoured by gradeners and those who like to put there knives to hard work. It features a C70 carbon steel blade with a thumb nick for opening. The handle is made from Bog Oak which is a term used to designate oak that has been buried in a peat bog for hundreds or sometimes thousands of years. 

The blade is non-locking and under three inches long so is legal to carry within the UK.
