The Kanetsune TANZAKU -TOU Folding Knife is crafted in the heart of Japanese knife and sword making history, Seki City. Quality is therefore guaranteed! The stye is a traditional one found in this area for hundreds of years and the precision manufacture is quite exceptional. 

“TANZAKU” means rectangular peace of metal or paper and the design is indeed a “blocky” one. The handle is two billets of brushed stainless steel with back spacers and a liner creating a bang on locking mechanism. The blade has a flat, Wharncliff form with a raised and extended jimping area allowing one handed opening with the thumb. It is made from AUS8 stainless steel sharpened to an extraordinary edge.

It has a pocket clip attached which can be removed for tip up or down carry.
