The Fallkniven S1 is, arguably, the worlds most functional and high performing survival knife with a slightly longer and fuller bellied blade than its little brother, the F1. The basis of the X-knife’s strength lies in the laminated cobalt steel in combination with the well-thought-out construction in which break zones have been eliminated. Together with the hand-shaped convex edge, the X-knife is a concept that beats everything else in the world in terms of safety, comfort and hard use.

Lam. Cos stands for Laminated Cobalt Steel. It is at least 20% stronger than a solid stainless steel. The S1X uses a steel “sandwich”. The “bread” is almost corrosion free, 420J stainless with a super hard Cobalt Steel “filling.

The Fallkniven X Series S1 is supplied with a Kydex sheath with a “transport lock.” Meaning the knife can be stored in a ready to go position or locked in so it can be stored in the tip up or down position.
