Made to order for the renowned 9th Parachute Assault Regiment “Col Moschin” of the Italian special forces, which officially adopted it in 2002, this is a quintessential field knife. It represents a contemporary reworking of knives issued to the Arditi – the historical force in whose footsteps the 9th walks – which sported asymmetrical blades and straight but direction-sensitive hilts. Designed to be light and handy, balanced decidedly toward the hilt.

The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel, a high performance steel with excellent cutting and mechanical characteristics. It is hollow ground and hand sharpened with a Rockwell hardness of 58. The Forprene handle is fixed on the tang with an hexagonal stainless steel screw, this allows an efficient cleaning and lubing operation to give the knife an unlimited duty life. The high grip polymer and the handle shape allows the prompt change in grip positions. Issued with a Nylon Thigh sheath with Molle attachments.
